Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) is a medical college with more than 15 years of history of providing education to the students in the health care delivery sector. Its a public limited operation managed by the society.The college is aimed at the provision of quality medical care at ease.and a highest standard of care at a lowest possible expense.

The MBBS Program:
The program offered by the institution is comprised of total 5 and a half years of duration including the one year mandatory internship. The norms and criteria are as per the description of Nepal medical council and Kathmandu University. The first two years of the course is aimed at the provision of education on basic medical science

Hostel Facility:
Separate buildings with furnished rooms are available for both boys and girls.The college is strict on providing high quality nutritious diet to the students over the daily routine.The diet provided will be periodically revised as per the changes in the climate.

Library:
The library of Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) is furnished as two different sections, one for Basic science students and the other for the students who are in the clinical section.The library is having separate section for the self education which is furnished with video and CD Rom accesses.
